1. Federally recognized and sanctioned as an Economic Development Administration Economic Development District.
2. Provided public funding assistance and financial packaging assistance for a wide variety of economic development and related planning projects.
3. Currently researching and writing 10 comprehensive development plans and 1 zoning ordinance.
4. Currently administering 18 CDBG, 5 housing fund grants, and 6 LHAP's.
5. Currently serving as the Fiscal Agent for the Region 3 Workforce Development Center local partnership.
6. Nationally recognized for the design and administration of a Workplace Safety Program (SHIELD).
7. Administering one of only 4 regional Local Emergency Planning Committee's in the State of Iowa.
